About Epilog Laser
Epilog Laser has designed and built laser systems in Golden, Colorado since 1988. The current line has three series: Fusion Ascent, Fusion Pro and Fusion Galvo.
Start with the Fusion Ascent 12 if you're new to lasers or short on space. Move to a Fusion Pro when the laser runs all day or you need a bigger bed. Add a Fusion Galvo when most of your work is marking metal parts.

Yes. Synergy Products is Canada’s exclusive Epilog Laser dealer. We sell, service and support Epilog machines across the country from our offices in Delta, BC and Mississauga, ON.
What is the difference between the Fusion Ascent and the Fusion Pro?
The Fusion Ascent (12, 24 and 36) engraves at 120 IPS. The Ascent 12 and 24 offer CO₂ or MOPA fiber; the Ascent 36 is CO₂-only. The Fusion Pro (24, 36 and 48) engraves at 165 IPS with 5G acceleration, has a deeper bed, offers CO₂ up to 200W, and can carry CO₂ and fiber in one machine. Choose a Pro for long engraving runs or daily cutting workloads that need its speed, power or bed size.
Do I need a CO₂ or a fiber laser?
A CO₂ laser engraves and cuts suitable non-metals such as wood, acrylic, leather and engraving plastics. It surface-engraves glass, removes some metal coatings and marks coated metals such as anodized aluminum; it does not cut glass or bare metal. A fiber laser marks bare metal and many plastics but does not cut wood or acrylic. If you need both, look at a dual-source Fusion Pro or pair a CO₂ machine with a Fusion Galvo.
What power and ventilation does an Epilog need?
Epilog lasers are Class 2 systems. Electrical requirements vary by model and wattage; confirm the supply and receptacle before ordering. Every laser needs its smoke removed, either with a filtering fume extractor or a blower vented outside. We size the extraction with the machine.
