Laserable Wood Sheets
Pre-cut laserable wood sheets are engineered for consistent results in a laser engraver. Unlike raw wood from a lumber yard, these sheets have controlled moisture content, flat surfaces, and predictable engraving behaviour — essential for production environments.
CO₂ lasers excel at wood engraving: the laser chars the surface to create high-contrast marks, or cuts through for precise shapes. Epilog and Kern CO₂ systems produce exceptional results on everything from thin veneers to thick hardwood blanks.

Hardwood (Maple, Cherry, Walnut)
High contrast engravings. Maple engraves light, walnut and cherry provide rich dark tones.
Softwood (Pine, Cedar)
Lower contrast but aromatic and popular for rustic applications. Can burn unevenly.
Baltic Birch Plywood
Most consistent results. Flat, stable, and available in standard sheet sizes. Best for production runs.
MDF
Very consistent engraving but not suitable for food-contact items. Engraves very dark.
Bamboo
Eco-friendly, engraves beautifully with high contrast. Popular for cutting boards and awards.

LaserDark™ Marking Spray
LaserDark is a semi-transparent coloring spray that dramatically enhances laser-engraved wood. Apply before or after engraving to intensify the contrast, add colour depth, or protect the finished surface. Works on most types of wood and some other porous materials.
Black
Deep, rich black for maximum contrast on light wood tones. Most popular colour.
Brown
Natural brown tone that blends with the wood grain for a subtle, burned-in appearance.
Finish Coat
Clear protective top coat to seal and protect the engraved area after coloring.
