Keep Your Laser Running at Peak Performance

A laser system is a precision instrument. Regular preventive maintenance extends the life of your machine, prevents unexpected downtime, and keeps output quality consistent.

Most manufacturers recommend annual preventive maintenance. High-volume production environments may benefit from semi-annual visits. We'll advise based on your usage.

Common Questions

My laser isn't cutting all the way through — what should I check?

The most common causes are a dirty or misaligned lens, a failing laser tube, or incorrect speed/power settings for the material thickness. Start by cleaning the focus lens. If that doesn't resolve it, call us and we'll walk you through a diagnosis.

How long is the warranty on Epilog laser systems?

New Epilog systems include a two-year warranty on parts and labour. Warranty terms on used/pre-owned equipment vary — contact us for details on specific machines.

Can you service a laser I didn't buy from you?

Yes. We service Epilog, Kern, and Tykma systems regardless of where they were purchased. Contact us with your machine model and a description of the issue.

Do you service older/discontinued laser models?

In most cases, yes. Parts availability may be limited for very old systems, but we'll let you know before committing to a repair if parts are unavailable or excessively expensive.

How quickly can I get a service technician on-site?

For the Lower Mainland and Greater Toronto Area, we typically schedule within 1–2 weeks for non-emergency service. Emergency visits for critical production situations are accommodated when possible — call us directly.

Do you offer remote support for software and settings questions?

Yes. Most software, settings, and workflow questions can be resolved by phone or video call without a service visit. This is usually the fastest and most cost-effective option.
